48 HTML Elements in 5 minutes
A pretty fun challenge, how many valid HTML 4 elements can you name in 5 minutes? I honestly didn’t cheat and got 48 (I actually got 49, if you count applet, which I spelt appelt and promptly ran out of time).
Which did I get?
A, ABBR, B, BLOCKQUOTE, BODY, BUTTON, CAPTION, CITE, CODE, DD, DIV, DL, DT, EM, FORM, HTML, I, IMG, INPUT, LABEL, LEGEND, LI, LINK, META, OBJECT, OL, OPTION, P, PRE, Q, S, SCRIPT, SELECT, SPAN, STRONG, STYLE, TABLE, TBODY, TD, TEXTAREA, TFOOT, TH, THEAD, TITLE, TR, TT, U, UL
Which did I miss?
ACRONYM, ADDRESS, APPLET, AREA, BASE, BASEFONT, BDO, BIG, BR, CENTER, COL, COLGROUP, DEL, DFN, DIR, FIELDSET, FONT, FRAME, FRAMESET, H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6, HEAD, HR, IFRAME, INS, ISINDEX, KBD, MAP, MENU, NOFRAMES, NOSCRIPT, OPTGROUP, PARAM, SAMP, SMALL, STRIKE, SUB, SUP, VAR
My thoughts
I don’t actually think I did too bad. I will be the first to admit I have never heard of a couple of those; BDO and VAR. What are they? I’m going to look them up after this. I also just noticed that head was in the missed list! What? I wrote that one, I swear! I do feel a bit silly about missing the header tags (All 6 of them!), but my head hit a blank for about 2 minutes in the middle.

Just to follow up:
BDO is used to change text direction. Left to right, or right to left, and can be used like so:
VAR is actually quite obvious, it is markup for a programming variable.
